Biography

Dr. Edmond Beqiri (born on February 06, 1963 in Pejë) is a Kosovon expert on education and university teacherFact|date=August 2007. He studied Electronics & Telecomunications at the University of Prishtina, graduating in (1987). After Postgraduate studies in Zagreb in the 1990s, he conducted a research program on Applied Informatics. With regard to the professional area, Dr. Beqiri worked as professor, chair of the department and later as the dean of the Faculty of Applied Business Sciences (2002 - 2006). During this time span, Dr. Beqiri published a number of studies, books and articles inside and outside of Kosovo. Dr. Beqiri holds the scientific title Professor Doctor. Dr. Beqiri has been considered as one of the leading academics in the country Fact|date=August 2007.Dr. Beqiri started to teach Applied Informatics at the University of Prishtina from 1993.He has published study books, textbooks and articles on Computer science and Informatics, inside and internationally. He holds the scientific title Professor Doctor. He has worked as a professor at the University of Prishtina and in present is the Rector (President) of the European Vision University in Kosovo.
