Career
At Zulte-Waregem, Leye was one of the most prolific players. After Zulte Waregem's partnership was formed with English team Portsmouth FC, there were rumours he could join them in 2009 once he had gained the sufficient European residence time (3 years), without requiring a work permit. He moved on 2 February 2009 to K.A.A. Gent after leaving S.V. Zulte Waregem after 18 months. In 2010, he signed a 2-year contract with Standard Liège
