Finistère , currently playing in CFA 2 group G (5th division in theFrench football league system ).History
The team was founded in 1905. Its major achievement came however in the seveties and eighties, when it played in the Division 2. Its best result was a fourth place in 1988-1989. The club had later financial problems in 1997. In the 2006-2007 season, they managed to escape from regional level (DH Bretagne, 6th division) and came back at a national level.
The team has also a lady section, which played in 3rd division.
