Amy Vining is a fictional character on the American soap opera "General Hospital". The character was portrayed by Cari Ann Warder in 1975 and by Shell Kepler from 1979-2002.

Amy is the daughter of Barbara and Jason Vining. Barbara's daughter died at birth and was switched with Lesley Williams's daughter, Laura. Amy was raised believing that Laura Webber Spencer was her sister. Lesley found out the truth and rescued Laura from a cult and brought her to Port Charles. Amy went looking for Laura and caused strain on Laura and Scott Baldwin's marriage. Amy went to go live with Lesley Webber and Dr. Rick Webber.

Amy and Laura remained close throughout their lives. Amy was very disappointed and hurt when Laura faked her death and did not tell Amy about it. Amy was always a shoulder for Laura to cry on. Their relationship eventually recovered from Laura's deception. Amy remained single throughout her time on the show.
