Michael D. Harvey is EVP and CMO of Centric CRM and is a member of the board of directors for the Open Solutions Alliance. He lives in Norfolk, Virginia with his wife and two daughters.
History
Michael Harvey was born in Seattle, Washington. He graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University in 1986. He is a member of the honor societies Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi.
In 1985 and 1986, Harvey worked for IBM as an Industrial Engineer; from 1987 to 1989, he worked for J.P. Morgan as a financial analyst; and from 1989 to 1995, he held management and marketing positions at Microsoft Corporation. In 1995, he founded his own corporation, m.d. harvey & company, that provided consulting to Microsoft, RealNetworks, Corbis Corporation, and others. He has been an Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Centric CRM since 2006.
Harvey was one of the founders of the Port Townsend Film Festival and was formerly on the board of directors for Silverlake Winery in Washington State.
