The Battle of Crevola was fought on April 28, 1487 along the Toce River near a bridge near Crevola, Italy, between the forces of the Old Swiss Confederacy and the forces of the Duchy of Milan. The latter were victorious and reconquered the Val d'Ossola. The Swiss fled the valley with heavy casualties.

The defeat established the final border between the Duchy and the Confederation at Gondo and weakened the position of Jost von Silenen (Brother of Albin), Bishop of Sitten and Lord of the Valais. Jost von Silenen had to accept peace in 1495. [Peter Schmid: "Band III (1992) Spalten 722-725"]
