Trikomo ( _tr. İskele, _el. Τρίκωμο) is a village in the district of Famagusta in
Northern Cyprus . Trikomo is occupied along with the north part of the island by the Turks. After the Turkish occupation in 1974, the Greek Cypriot citizens of the village had to move away from their houses along with the other Cypriots who lived in areas that were occupied.The village is also the seat of the North Cypriot administrative district of İskele, encompassing the northeastern portions of the former
Famagusta District and including the whole of the Karpasia Peninsula. According to the Republic of Cyprus, this area remains "de jure" part of the district of Famagusta.References
