Sárdi Rezso

Sárdi Rezso (1946- ) Hungarian-born foreign trade specialist and journalist; a prominent figure of the Hungarian travel trade. Sárdi has been the representative of Varig Brazilian Airlines since 1972. He was instrumental in developing bilateral relationships between Hungary and Brazil for which he was decorated by the Knight of Order of Rio Branco by the President of Brazil in 2002. He was appointed Honorary Consul of New Zealand in 2004. Sárdi is one of the founding members and Secretary of Duna Lions Club in Budapest. Sárdi is married to Judit, and has one son, Rudolf.
