Fife ,Scotland .Arncroach is a small village situated in the East of
Fife , a couple of miles inland of the fishing village ofPittenweem and around 10 miles away from the famousSt Andrews , on the east coast ofScotland . Arncroach is within theCarnbee church parish.Situated about 1/4 of a mile from Arncroach isKellie Castle formerly the seat of theEarl of Kellie and is also where the famousLorimer family lived. Recently saw the installation of the first wind turnbine to theEast Neuk area ofFife Geology/Geography
Arncroach is situated at the foot of Kellie Law, a small hill which is visible from as far as the
Firth of Forth . The village has a population of around 150 people.Education
Arncroach once had two schools, despite it only being a very small village, one was a boys school and the other was for girls. Later the two were combined as having two became in-practical. The Old School of Arncroach is now a holiday home after the school was closed in the mid 1900s. Children living in the village and surrounding area now have to travel to
Pittenweem or Colinsburgh Primarys, andWaid Academy inAnstruther for secondary education
