Ska Funk Band from the 80's, local to the Berkeley-Oakland area, winner of a "Bammie" (Bay Area Music Award, Later referred to as a "California Music Award") Founded by singer Piero El Malo (
Piero Ornelas ) and Michael Maung. Music consisted of a high energy blend of Ska, Latin, Funk, and Hard Rock. Themes and lyrics were openly critical of government policies including policies towards the cold war, South Africa, The Regan Administration, and other right wing causes.Were signed briefly to

Records underBenny Medina , (Author and playwright of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air " Ornelas Left the band after clashes with management, accusing them of attempting to create anotherPrince Type band. Ornelas was also alleged to have experienced some drugs problems during the band's 5 year career, which influenced some of the band's more openly party-friendly anthems, such as"dancing Public" which contained a refrain: "I, reserve the right, to party each and every night!"
