Robert Shirley, Viscount Tamworth

Robert William Saswalo Shirley, Viscount Tamworth (born 29 December 1952) is the heir to his father, Robert Shirley, 13th Earl Ferrers. He was educated at Ampleforth College in Yorkshire. From 1971-1972 he taught in Kenya under the CMS Youth Service Abroad Scheme.

On 21 June 1980, he married Susannah Mary Sheepshanks and they have three children, Hermione Mary Annabel (b 11 December 1982), William Robert Charles (b 10 December 1984) and Frederick James Walter (b 2 June 1990).
