CZ-502.5

The CZ-502.5 or CZ500 rifle/shotgun combo was a rugged, reliable and accurate firearm.The version in 12/70-6, 5x55 Mauser would easily shoot 3 rounds within 30 mm at 100 meters.

As with most combos of this type, it had two sets of triggers. The shotgun was discharged with the front trigger, and the rifle with the rear trigger.

It also had a super-light trigger function. By moving the front trigger about 3mm forward, you could set it at a superlight mode at about 40 grams. It is VERY important not to set this on mode before you have cocked and locked the action and insured that the safety is ON. Failing to do so may cause the gun to fire when locking the breech or giving it a sudden impact to the ground.

A scope mount could be fitted to the breech/barrel-rib, but have to pay attention while mounting it. Minute burrs on the mount or barrel rib, could fail to keep it aligned, a problem that some hunters experienced.
