Single-game doubleheader

Single-game doubleheader

In baseball, a single-game doubleheader is the term used for a game that lasts 18 innings or more, the equivalent of a doubleheader. It gets this name from that fact that when 2 teams play a doubleheader, they play at least 18 innings.
