All India Muslim Majlis, is a Muslim political party in India, based in Uttar Pradesh.
Muslim Majlis was founded by Dr. Abdul Jaleel Faridi in 1968, after he had become disillusioned with the Samyukt Vidhayak Dal.
After the death of Dr. Faridi, Mr. Alhaj Zulfiqarulla Sb. became the president and after that Mohd. Qamar Alam Kazmi became the president of All India Muslim Majlis.
In 1977 two Muslim Majlis MPs were elected on the Janata Party symbol.
In 1992 Mr. Qamar Alam Kazmi raised his voice against the demolition of Babri Masjid. He started Karwane Insaf(Nyay yatra) against the Rath Yatra of Advani. He did several of Dharnas, Morchas etc. in between the period of his presidentship.
In 2002 Muslim Majlis joined the Awami Front, but later left it under the presidentship of Mr. Qamar Alam Kazmi.
In 2003, due to Alzheimer disease he nominated Mr. Khan Atif Sb as an acting president.
In 2006, as Mr. Kazmi was unable to take care of Majlis Mr. Khalid Sabir became the president. Mr. Qamar Kazmi was died on 13 January 2009 after long illness. Mr. Khalid Sabir is no more a part of All India Muslim Majlis.
The current party president is Khan Mohd. Atif Sb.
The youth wing of the party is called All India Youth Majlis. The president of the youth wing is Mohammad Kashif Yunus.
Muslim Majlis is now the part of Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front (UPUDF) led by ex-minister Janab C.M. Ibrahim and patronised by Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari.
The U.P state wing of Muslim Majlis is Actively involved in the activities of UP wing of UDF which is known as the Uttar Pradesh United Democratic Front (UPUDF).
UPUDF is led by Advocate Yusuf Quraishi, the elder brother of Minister Yaqoob Quraishi. The Parliamentary Board of the UPUDF is headed by Mahboob Ahmed who is also President of U.P wing of All India Muslim Majlis Mushawarat.
Mr. Badar Kazmi well known business Man (Younger Brother of Mr. Qamar Alam Kazmi) is the Vice President of All India Muslim Majlis.
