"Black Sun" is the third studio album from the hard rock band Ra. While hopes were to release the album in June, the band's website [http://www.ra-band.net raband.net] states the release date as September 23th, 2008 [ [http://www.ra-band.net/history/ Ra History] ] . A single, Broken-Hearted Soul, from Black Sun was released Christmas Day 2007. It was available for download only on the band's myspace page and is now available on iTunes as of June 17, 2008. (no reference) Black Sun was released to iTunes on September, 16 2008. Some retailers do not carry this album due to distribution problems (unverified). The album reached #199 on the Billboard 200. Black Sun has sold 4400+ albums.
