Scott, a native of

2005 , Briana burst onto the scene as a new recording artist with the release of her debut album, "“While I’m Here”", which earned her 2Stellar Award nominations as well as 3Dove Award nominations in 2007. Though the project featured many great songs, the most prominent songs included: While I’m Here , Clean Heart, Brand New Day, and of course the worship medley featuring Here I Am to Worship and I Give You My Heart, penned byTim Hughes and Hillsong’sReuben Morgan , respectively. Scott's versatility is shown as she appeals toLatin America with a bilingual recording of Honor, written by her cousin Singer/Songwriter Eddie James (Karen Wheaton Ministries). Briana has appeared on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network ) and on the Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors Show, which is aired onTV One , a cable and satellite network founded byCathy Hughes . Additionally, Briana has been the guest worship leader and psalmist at many conferences and churches including those of highly revered pastors BishopCharles E. Blake ofWest Angeles Church of God in Christ , Bishop Ernestine Reems-Dickerson, and Pastor E.V. Hill, II.Throughout her musical journey, Briana's had the awesome privilege of sharing the platform with:
The Clark Sisters ,Tramaine Hawkins ,Stevie Wonder ,The Winans ,Sandi Patty , Krystal Lewis,Kim Burrell ,Israel Houghton , Avalon,Jeff Deyo and a host of others. Briana currently serves as a worship leader at First InstitutionalBaptist Church inPhoenix, AZ . She resides in Phoenix with her husband and their two sons Trenton and Kwenton. In addition to being an anointed psalmist and writer; Briana is a student of the word. “The word of God is my song;” therefore, “Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed” (Psalm 119:80).In 2008, Briana will release her second musical offering, a Christmas album titled "O What A Night". She will also be preparing for the recording of her third full length project. Scott says, "A release date for this project has not been firmly set yet, but the goal is to have it released by spring of 2009. With the first two projects, I did everything in Arizona which made it very convenient for me to just drive down to the studio. But with this project, I'll be working with a production team out of New York. I'm really excited about the team. The project will include songs that I've written as well as songs written by others. I believe the project will not only show how much I have grown as a Christian artist, but most importantly inspire and encourage all people to praise and worship God. That's what I aim to do with the gift that God has blessed me with; inspire and encourage all people to praise and worship him."
