Sameena Ali-Khan

"Sameena Ali-Khan" launched her career on the BBC regional news programme "East Midlands Today" in 1999. She joined ITV Central in 2000. Currently she is the female presenter for their main regional news magazine "Central Tonight" for the East Midlands on ITV1. She has also presented the "ITV Weekend News" on occasion in 2006.

Sameena is currently on maternity leave, with relief presenter Louisa James standing in for her until she returns in spring 2009. (If she isn't asked to leave in December 2008, as part of the ITV regional news job cuts).
