HMS Monmouth (1772)

HMS "Monmouth" was a 64-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 18 April 1772 at Plymouth.

In 1783, "Monmouth" took fought in the Battle of Cuddalore.

She became a prison ship in 1796, and was broken up in 1818.
