"Parapinnixa affinis", the California Bay pea crab, is a species of pinnotherid crab endemic to the west coast of the United States [cite web |author=Inland Water Crustacean Specialist Group |year=1996 |url=http://www.iucnredlist.org/search/details.php/16185/all |title="Parapinnixa affinis" |work=IUCN Red List of Threatened Species |accessdate=2007-08-10] .
