millipede in familySpirostreptidae . It is endemic toSouth Africa . Its naturalhabitat is subtropical or tropical moistmontane s. It is threatened byhabitat loss .They only occur in small patches of montane forests, and take probably at least two years to reach maturity. In sampled forests, about fifty individuals per square meter were found.
