Joe Kessler (October 2, 1970; Framingham, MA) is currently a performing musician, noted mainly for his electric blue violin and classic rock-influenced fiddling.

Kessler currently performs and records with Sunday's Well, The International String Trio, The Middle East Peace Orchestra and has made recording and performing appearances with Hypnotic Clambake,
Boiled in Lead , Morphine andJimmy Ryan . His most renowned performances include: being a member of the orchestra behind Led Zeppelin'sRobert Plant andJimmy Page during "Page and Plant: No Quarter Tour"; touring festivals in Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and Paris and including a performance at the UN with the Middle East Peace Orchestra, a group directed by Henrik Goldschmidt (principal oboeist of the Royal Opera of Copenhagen), and touring across the US and Canada with "Boiled in Lead", whose credits include "Antler Dance" and "Songs From the Gypsy".During his tenure with "Boiled in Lead", the band garnered fame for its CD "Songs From the Gypsy", which used the original texts of the novel, written by Steven Brust and Megan Lindholm, as lyrics.
