Willie O’Dwyer (born 4 April, 1984) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Mullinavat and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team.Willie played an instrumental role in the U-21 All-Ireland against Tipperary in 2005 where he received the Man of the Match.He is the Leading player for his Club Mullinavat where he plays in the forwards.Dwyer also played as a Leading player with Waterford IT in the Fitzgibbon Cup Colleges Hurling. Last Year (2007) O'Dwyer also lined out for Dublin IT in the Fitzgibbon Cup. He is 5ft 10" tall and weighs 83kg/13st 7lbs. O'Dwyer showed fantastic Skill when he scored a Lethal 2 goals and 3 points from corner forward in the Leinster Senior Hurling final vs Wexford in 2007.Willie O'Dwyer won a Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship with his club Mullinavat in 2006.Willie O'Dwyer has enjoyed great success to date which would make anybody happy but he is determined to win alot more as the young man is only 24 years of age and has his prime hurling ahead of him. O'Dywer showed the talent that he has got by tasting succes at every Intercounty Grade with Kilkenny.
