Australian Christian Churches, the Assemblies of God (AOG) in Australia, has many ministries in place to serve the church and effectively outreach to people in Australia and further. Some of the ministries are a means of providing support and aid to the people of the world, while others are for the 190,000 members of Australian Christian Churches. There are also ministries in place that are purely to strengthen the denomination and the people they represent.
AOG World Missions
AOG World Missions is the official global outreach arm of Australian Christian Churches. The President of AOG World Missions is Jack Hanes, the Senior Pastor of Penrith Christian Life Centre. AOG World Vision has a three point mission; the mobilisation of people into missions ministry, providing relief and development around the world and providing resources to the local church. AOG World Mission comprises:
* A network of churches that support regions of the globe
* A movement of local churches reaching the unreached
* The First Priority Service Centre, serving ACC churches and ACC field workers.
* AOG World Relief, reaching out through humanitarian development and relief initiatives.
Australian Christian Services
Australian Christian Services (ACS) is a national financial services company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian Christian Churches. ACS provides a range of financial services for Christians, including home and church loans, financial planning and insurance. ASC provides fleet cars through ASC Fleets and also provides superannuation through Australian Christian Superannuation.
Chaplaincy Australia
Chaplaincy Australia is a hands-on, practical outreaching ministry that aims to support people through having chaplains. Chaplaincy Australia works in conjunction with the Local Church, to provide resources to meet the spiritual and pastoral needs of all people, without discrimination, and in every field of life, throughout the states of Australia.
Rangers Australia
Rangers Australia is a dynamic outdoor camping program for primary aged children with a strong pastoral element.
