Blinkenlights Archaeological Institute

Blinkenlights Archaeological Institute

The Blinkenlights Archaeological Institute was established in 1997 to preserve historical computing devices. Its headquarters are in Seattle, Washington. Some of its collection is on display at VintageTech in Oakland, California, and the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.

The name of the institute is a tribute to the term "blinkenlights" originated in hacker humor.
