His Success caught the attention of Mexican club Toluca of the Mexican first division that year. He would end up playing for various clubs in Mexico. In 1997, He would reach the finals withToros Neza but end up losing the finals. In 1998, He returned toEl Salvador to have his second stint withC.D. Luis Angel Firpo . He became a Salvadoran citizen and was able to participate with El Salvador. He was later been cut by Armando Contreras whom had taken the position afterJuan Ramon Paredes stepped down of the national team. He would later play forC.D.
