Oddbodz

Oddbodz were a series of collectible cards during 1995 and 1996. They were produced and marketed by Glow Zone Australia and could be found in Smiths Chips packets in Australia and Bluebird chip packets in New Zealand. They included bizarre characters like Napoleon Boneypartes (for a skeleton) and humorous stories which could be created by making 'chains' of Oddbodz cards. The first series of Oddbodz included a wide range of characters however after this more themed collections became available in the form of 'Space Oddbodz' and 'Footy Oddbodz'.

One Oddbodz character 'Gobbledok has made numerous appearances in Smiths Chips advertisements over the years before and after the Oddbodz collectable cards. Some of the Oddbodz characters have also made appearances on Wizz Fizzsherbet packets. They are generally characters from the original Oddbodz series such as 'Nerdy Neville' and 'Mimi Screami'.
