Ring of Fire (radio program)

"Ring of Fire" is a weekly radio program on the Air America Radio network. It is hosted by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Mike Papantonio. Both are attorneys who focus on what they call "corporate fat cats, polluters and media spinmeisters."Fact|date=June 2008

Production

Ring of Fire is produced at a Pensacola, Florida studio housed in the same building as Papantonio's law office. Ring of Fire's executive producers are Scott Millican and Jon Sinton with producer Farron Cousins, and researcher Brendan DeMelle.

The program's theme song is "Ring of Fire," originally by Johnny Cash, performed by Social Distortion.

Schedule

The show airs Saturdays on most Air America affiliates from 3PM - 6PM ET. Papantonio does the show from the Pensacola studio, while Kennedy operates out of the Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York.

History

The radio show debuted on May 1, 2004.

The "Ring of Fire" radio program was featured in the 2006 documentary film "Jesus Camp".

David Bender appeared on the show when Air America 2.0 was launched on May 22nd, 2007.

John Morgan replaced Bender in August 2007, but left the show in January 2008.
