Roy L. Austin (born
1939 ) is the United States Ambassador toTrinidad and Tobago .Born in
Kingstown ,St. Vincent and the Grenadines , 1964 he moved to the US to study and later became a US citizen. He attendedYale University and graduated with a BA insociology . While there he befriended future-US PresidentGeorge W. Bush and both were inducted to the secret societySkull and Bones . Pennsylvania State University and served as director of the Crime, Law, and Justice Program and the Africana Research Center. Bush appointed Austin to the post of Ambassador and he was sworn in October 19, 2001.References
