The Lycée Français International, or French International School of Hong Kong, is a French school located in Hong Kong. It was given the name "Victor Segalen", a French poet, in 1994. It forms part of the international network of French schools managed by the French government through the "Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger" (Agency for French Teaching Abroad), , a national administrative body. The school is placed directly under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cooperation Ministry.
The primary school is situated on Jardine's Lookout and the secondary school, which has recently been renovated, is located in Happy Valley.
Founded as a "small French school" in 1964 for a handful of children, FIS enrolled its 1000th pupil in January 1994 and today has almost 1700 students.
The present school of Jardine’s Lookout was built in 1984, and the one in Happy Valley in 1999 on a plot of land given by the Hong Kong Government on condition that the school opened an International Section (teaching in English). As of today, 34% of FIS students are schooled in the international section. The secondary school has been located in the new building since January 1999.
