Karl A. Clark

Karl Clark, Research Scientist, Industrial Chemist and Educator, was born on October 20, 1888 in Georgetown, Ontario and died in England in December 1966. He is best known for his contribution to the University of Alberta and the Alberta Research Council for work leading to his oil sands extraction process patent in 1948 [http://www.arc.ab.ca/Index.aspx/ARC/1831 Patent issued by the Dominion of Canada to Dr. Karl A.
