They have never won the Monaghan Senior Football Championship to date but have come runners-up in1946 and1950 . The Killanny Geraldines' GAA club pitch is situated on the Killanny road close to Essexford. There are new changing rooms in the new center.=team=The junior team has been in the lower reaches of monaghan football for some time now,but with many gifted youngsters coming through the ranks there is a feeling around the parish that the glory days of old will soon return to the border club
