Peter Gunn (born: Thurso, Caithness, Scotland 9th Feb 1864 - died:22nd June 1927 in Alberta ) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.
Gunn ran for election to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in the 1909 Alberta general election. With no other opposition candidates he was acclaimed to his first term in office.
Peter ran for his second term in the 1913 Alberta general election, this time defeating Conservative candidate George Barker in a hotly contested race. Gunn won the election by a 43 vote margin. He did not run again in the next provincial election retiring from provincial politics after 2 terms.
Gunn, Alberta on Lac Ste. Anne is named in his honor.
