Shekhan District

Shekhan District

The Shekhan District is a district in the Ninewa Governorate of Iraq.

Even though Shekhan is in the Ninewa Governorate, it is currently under the Kurdistan Regional Government control.Fact|date=August 2007 It is bordered by the Amedi and Dahuk Districts of the Dahuk Governorate to the north, the Akre district to the east, Al-Shikhan district to the south, and the Tel Kaif District (Tel Kaif) district to the west.
