Carlos Alberto Menjívar Aguilar Jr (born April 4, 1981 in San Francisco, California) is a Salvadoran-American football (soccer) player who most recently played for C.D. FAS. He is the son of former US Soccer staff coach, and current South Texas Soccer Association director of development, Carlos Menjívar Sr.

National team

Menjívar made his international debut with El Salvador in 2002, and was part of El Salvador's historic U23's team, that won the Caribbean and Central American Games that same year. More recently, he represented El Salvador in the 2007 Gold Cup. Although he only played for a short time in El Salvador's first game against Trinidad and Tobago, as he picked up a bad ankle injury and was unable to play any further part in the tournament.

Professional

Menjívar quit C.D FAS in the August 2007 over pay disputes. He currently is uncontracted and looking to play in the United States.
