Amanda Righetti

Amanda Righetti (born April 4 1983 in St. George, Utahcite web | title=Amanda Righetti Official Website | work=Bio | url=http://www.amandarighetti.com/Bio.aspx | accessdate=May 29 | accessyear=2007] ) is an American actress.

Early Life

She was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and subsequently moved to Los Angeles to seek further acting opportunities. She married actor Jordan Alen on April 29 2006. Fellow actress and friend Alex Davalos was Amanda's bridesmaid. Amanda is the youngest of eight children, having six sisters and one brother.

Career

After securing a role in the pilot "No Place Like Home", Righetti caught the eye of Fox executives. She played a regular guest character Hailey Nichol in the American teen drama "The O.C." In the season finale of Season 2 of "The O.C.", her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Cooper jokes about life on the "North Shore", the show she formerly starred in after the series was canceled after one season, playing the role of Tessa Lewis.

In late 2005, Righetti starred in FOX's "Reunion" as Jenna Moretti.

Righetti appears on the cover of the November 2005 issue of FHM magazine. In 2006, Righetti signed on to star as the main female lead in "Return to House on Haunted Hill" as Ariel Wolfe. The film is the sequel to the successful 1999 Horror Remake film House on Haunted Hill. The film was released Straight To DVD worldwide throughout October 2007 and received mixed reviews. In April 2008, she starred as the lead female role Whitney in the long awaited remake of "Friday the 13th". Production ended in June 2008 and the film will be released in theaters on Friday, February 13, 2009.

It has been confirmed that Amanda has signed on to appear as series regular Grace Van Pelt on the upcoming CBS series The Mentalist alongside Australian Actor Simon Baker which premieres on the 23 September 2008.
