"Freaks" is a song by alternative rock group Live, which was released as the second single from their 1997 album, "Secret Samadhi".

The song was not released as a commercially purchasable single in the United States, and was therefore not eligible for the Billboard Hot 100. However, it reached the #73 position on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay music chart, and also charted at #13 and #4 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts, respectively. The song reached #60 on the UK Singles Charts.

The U.S. promo release of the single used the same artwork as the "CD 2" single release in the U.K.

The single was also bundled as a bonus disc on some copies of the album "Secret Samadhi" in Australia.

Music video

The art for the single covers are taken from the music video, directed by Paul Cunningham of Oil Factory. [http://www.mvdbase.com/video.php?id=16728] It features a man who walks into a club, astonished to find they only serve milk (or a milk-like substance, possibly semen as it relates to the lyrics), and all of the customers are imbibing it. After refusing the "milk", the assorted "freaks" of the bar subdue him and force him to drink the liquid from a champagne bottle.
