hell description
The shell is moderately large and solid, basally obese, non-umbilicate, sculptured with stout longitudinal lamellae, varying between 9 and 13 per whorl; otherwise smooth, except for a weak basal spiral rib. The aperture is oval, the
peristome thickened, except for a thinparietal callus .The shell coloration is white and usually has dark brown color at the sutures.
The shell height is up to 32 mm, and the width up to 13 mm.
