David Nicholson (baseball player)

David Louis Nicholson (born October 22, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) - baseball player.

Nicholson is an infielder in Minor League Baseball. As a junior at the University of California-Berkeley in 2004, Nicholson led the team in batting average (.357), doubles, hits, runs scored and on-base percentage. He also had an 18-game hitting streak during the season. In 1998 he was a member of the U.S. Junior Olympic Team.

He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the ninth round of the June 2004 MLB Draft. Played in the minors for the Dodgers with the Ogden Raptors, Columbus Catfish, Vero Beach Dodgers, Inland Empire 66ers and Jacksonville Suns.

He is not currently assigned to any club for the 2008 season.
