Shunan English School

Shunan English School (SES) is an English and French conversation school located in Shūnan, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. SES teachers teach at the kindergarten level, children level, High School level and adult level.

Etsuko Tajima is currently the head of this school. The school itself was founded in the early 1970's, before Ms.Tajima was appointed as an office assistant. She studied English in the defunct Yamaguchi English School, in the same city.

The main office of the school is in Shunan. The school has two other offices in nearby towns: one in Hikari, Yamaguchi, and another one in Hōfu, Yamaguchi.

Shunan itself has many things to offer travellers, is located on the main Shinkansen line from Fukuoka to Tokyo, is situated by the sea and just 10 minutes away from glorious countryside. Climate change has seen warmer winters and hotter summers, but in either season, Shunan is a very colorful city.
