Zoop (TV)

"ZOOP" is a Dutch youth-oriented soap-opera that follows 8 young adults as they follow a course in animal care in the 'Ouwehands Dierenpark' ("Second-hand Zoo") in
Rhenen.

The series has had three seasons since 2004, all of them on the Dutch Nickelodeon channel. The series has also spawned three spinoff films.

Since the beginning of 2007 was there rumors that new episodes were being held back. On July 15, 2007, director Johan Nijenhuis admitted that there would be no more episodes, and there would be no further movies.

Awards

In 2004 the show won the 'Gouden Stuiver' ("Golden Nickel"), an award for best Dutch youth program.
