Real Time Strategy Community

Real Time Strategy Community, or RTSC, is a site dedicated to Real Time Strategy games. The site consists of a main page, where new information and updates on upcoming RTS games and already released games and also the weekly RTSC comic strip are posted, along with links to old information, and a forum, where the large community discuss major and minor RTS games that have been released or have been announced. Notable titles discussed include the upcoming Starcraft 2, and the Supreme Commander and / series. The community also discuss other, non-RTS titles, but to a lesser extent.

Background

The founder and administrator of RTSC is Nick Thibault. RTSC is his second site of this kind, the first being Middle Earth Mutant's World (MEMW), later Middle Earth Vault (MEV), a site mainly centred on discussion of the Battle for Middle Earth series. The first site became much less active after its founder had a disagreement with IGN and left the position, to focus solely on his new site.Fact|date=October 2007

Controversy

After Nick left his position, the enraged community decided to try and destroy the Middle Earth Vault site by beginning a spam attack on the site, before leaving en masse.Fact|date=October 2007 This act was at least partially successful, as activity on the forums dropped by a great amount after these actions.Fact|date=October 2007
