Pop Girl is a British free-to-air satellite television channel owned and operated by CSC Media Group, showing cartoons, live action and pop music videos for girls aged 5 to 13. The channel launched on 6 August, 2007 on Sky Digital channel 626 and is the second sister channel from POP!. Pop Girl originally broadcast from 6am till 9pm by time sharing with AnimeCentral, a general entertainment channel also owned and operated by CSC Media Group, which broadcasts from 9pm till 6am. Little Miss Pop Girl

Since 12 May, a new block was made called "Little Miss Pop Girl", which has a slight change to the channel's logo between 9am and 12pm every weekday during the school term. The block shows some cartoons such as Lazy Lucy or Pippi Longstocking.

Pop Girl+1

On 9 May 2008, the AGB Nielsen Media website announced that Pop Girl+1 would launch on Sky EPG 629, on Monday 9 June 2008 [ [http://www.agbnielsen.co.uk/agb/files/ClientServices/New%20BARB%20Channels/Implementation-PopGirl+1.doc Pop Girl+1 launches on 9th June] ] . However, it was in fact launched a few days before that, on Wednesday 4 June 2008, replacing CSC Media Group's first music timeshift, Flaunt +1, after only being on air just short of 4 weeks.
