Greg Stockdale (born 30 July 1899) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the VFL during the 1920s.

A left footer, Stockdale started his career as a half back flanker and was first pushed up forward in the 1922 preliminary final, a place he remained in for most of his career. The following season he kicked 68 goals and was the league's leading goalkicker. It was also the first of three times that he led Essendon's goalkicking tallies. He won the 1925 W. S. Crichton Medal for their best and fairest player and represented Victoria in interstate football on 8 occasions.

He joined Northcote in the VFA in 1929 and by the end of the season was a member of their inaugural premiership side.
