Zimbragou ( _el. Ζυμπραγού) is a village in
Chania Prefecture of the island ofCrete ,Greece . It is part of the Kissamos province and belongs to the municipality ofKolymvari . It has 127 residents (2001 census [http://www.statistics.gr/gr_tables/S1101_SAP_1_TB_DC_01_03_Y.pdf source] ).The village is located at an elevation of about 350 meters above sea level. It lies in an agricultural region with significant production of
olive oil . Its distance from the capital town of theChania prefecture is 35 km (southwest ofChania ). The biggest church of the village is the church ofSaint George .The village is about 3 km south of the town of
