Buckeye High School is a
high school in Deville in northernRapides Parish ,Louisiana .BHS grades 9-12 have a new high school building. Grades 7 and 8 have their classes in the old high school building. Grade 6 moved from Hayden R. Lawrence Middle School to the old junior high building.
The mascot is the
black panther .The school colors are royal blue and athletic gold.
The school is locally known for its college-styled campus. Buckeye currently consists of ten buildings: high school building, junior high building, sixth grade building, cafeteria, auditorium, boy's gym, girl's gym, music building, agriculture building, and field house.
