Birendra Dutta

Birendra Dutta (born 14 September, 1935 - ) is an Indian writer and academic of Bengali origin. He was born in Panitraash village in Howrah district. He obtained his PhD from Calcutta University and was a professor of Bengali literature and language. He has published novels, short stories, essays, poetry and plays.
