Edmond Lowe Baker, Jr. (born 1964) is a
physician practicingobstetrics andgynecology inPhoenix, AZ , USA. A 1982 graduate ofCass Technical High School inDetroit, MI , he received aB.A. fromTemple University . After acareer inbusiness , he studiedmedicine at theUniversity of Michigan ,Ann Arbor , and was awarded theM.D. degree in 2004. Following at one-year internship ingeneral surgery at Michigan, he completed a two year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at theMaricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He was firstlicense d to practice obstetrics and gynecology in 2007.While studying medicine, he served on a committee to revise the school's
curriculum . In 2004, he co-authored a paper in the journal "Cancer" that studiesprostate cancer treatment trends among white, Hispanic, andAfrican-American men . [Citation
