Rajeev Appasaheb Rajale (born December 5, 1969 in the village of Kasar Pimpalgaon, Pathardi, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India) represents 231 Pathardi Shevgaon constituency in the Maharashtra state assembly. He attended Pravara public school, and got his bachelor of architecture degree at Pune university. He joined active politics in 1999, working as a youth congress campaigner. His family has a typical western Maharashtra's rural background. His grandfather, Dadapatil Rajale, was a freedom fighter and pioneered cooperative institutions in Ahmednagar district. His father, Appasaheb Rajale, was elected MLA by the same constituency and is still known as leader of masses. Rajeev Rajale lost the election in 1999 but was elected in 2004 by the Indian national congress party. He is a popular figure among youths & farmers. His debating & oratory skills in Maharashtra legislative assembly were applauded by senior leaders in the house. He is one of the upcoming young leaders of India.
