Gyorgy Bodo

(Cluj, Romania 1916.–Bergatreute, Germany, 1986. ápr.): Hungarian actor.

Education

Finished at Hetenyi Elemer Actors studio in 1938.

Career

Started his career in his home city at the Thalia and contined at the National theatre. In 1944 he went to Budapest to avoid the dangers of the front during world war two. He remained in the capital following the war. Between 1957 and 1969 a member of the State Deryne theatre then settled in West Germany. He used various techniques and suggestive manners to achieve characterisation of lyrical heroes.
