openCRX is a J2EE based professional enterprise class open source CRM (CRM) application released under the BSD License.

History

Origins

The development efforts for openCRX started in 2003 using the open source MDA platform, openMDX. The initial version of the core models of openCRX was released in February 2004. The first public version was released on 1st August 2004 on SourceForge and made it to the Top100 by 9th August 2004. Within a year it had topped 85,000 downloads. Unlike other leading open source Customer Relationship Management (CRM) options like SugarCRM, openCRX is based on BSD License.
